The Academy of Music Production’s  Audio Arts program introduces students to the world of independent audio creation, preparing them for a career in the audio industry.

By developing skills in recording, music creation, editing, and sequencing, students gain foundational knowledge of the audio production process. Students will also receive professional development training and techniques to enhance their credentials and marketability in the industry.

The Overview

The Audio Arts program at The AMP provides students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to create independent audio. Students will learn audio basics, music concepts, recording technology, audio editing, and sequencing as part of the curriculum. As part of the program, students will also be provided with professional development training to enhance their capabilities and credentials. In addition, they will be equipped with the skills they need to enter the audio industry as aspiring audio professionals.
 

The Objective

Students in the Audio Arts program gain a solid understanding of the audio production process through the program. A basic understanding of recording, music creation, editing, and sequencing will be provided to students, as well as an introduction to computer-based studio production. After completing this program, audio professionals will possess a greater understanding of their craft and will be more marketable.
